Meet Desiree
Coach. Speaker. Educator

For years, I wished there was a space for women like us. High-achieving, capable, and responsible women who have spent their lives caring for others, keeping everything running and quietly losing pieces of themselves along the way...
A place to turn to that wasn’t superficial or performative. A space that felt safe, honest, grounding and supportive. Where a woman could exhale… and finally tell the truth.
Which is exactly why, I created what I desperately needed during my own midlife awakening:
The Reclaim & Reset Method™
As a Certified Trauma-Recovery Coach,
I understand the sensitivity and complexity of this work. I understand how to hold space responsibly, compassionately, and without pressure.
I know this territory because I’ve walked it.
And because life has a sense of humor, I used to be an interior designer. So yes, the irony is not lost on me that I spent years helping people redesign beautiful rooms while slowly realizing that many women do not just need a prettier room. They need their life back.
I was raised in a family system where I learned early how to read the room, manage emotions, and stay “good.” I became the responsible one who knew how to keep her head up and keep going. Back then, I did not have the language for emotional labor, nervous system survival, or self-abandonment. I just thought I was mature.
Then religion entered the room and gave all of that “good girl” training a spiritual upgrade. My formative years were spent inside a subculture of Christianity that was confusing at best and deeply harmful at worst. There were beautiful pieces, yes. But there was also fear, shame, performance, control, purity messaging, spiritual manipulation, and the kind of religious language that taught me to question myself before I questioned the system. And like so many women, I became excellent at performing the version of myself that made other people comfortable.
Until that version of me started costing too much.
The cracks did not happen all at once. They rarely do. But I started to notice… to pay attention: To my body, my marriage, my faith and my identity. I began to see things that I could no longer tolerate "pretending" that things were fine when it was not fine. That can become a special kind of trauma that makes you question what you missed, what you tolerated, what you were taught to normalize, and why you stayed so long in rooms where your full self was not welcome. That kind of awakening is not neat. It comes with grief, rage and eventually clarity. It was then that I realized I wasn’t falling apart. I was telling the truth.
Today, I am the founder of The Midlife Reset Studio and creator of The Reclaim & Reset Method™. I help women in midlife reclaim themselves after life’s transitions, betrayal, burnout, grief, empty nest, relational trauma, spiritual unraveling, or the quiet ache of realizing they have become strangers in own lives.
My work is not about helping women become brand-new people. This is deeper than reinvention.
It’s reclaiming what was slowly taken overtime.
It is the work of telling the truth without abandoning yourself. It is learning to hear your own voice again after years of managing everyone else’s needs, rebuilding self-trust, creating boundaries that protect the woman you are becoming. It is practicing autonomy, maybe for the first time. My work is clear: I help women reclaim themselves, reset their direction, and rebuild a life that finally feels like it belongs to them.
What your future holds...
Midlife isn’t about becoming a brand-new person. It’s about coming home to the woman who has been buried under responsibility, survival, disappointment, caregiving, expectations, and years of holding it all together. So if you’re in an ending, the in-between, or the early signs of a new beginning… Nothing about this means you’re doing midlife wrong.
It means something in you is ready to be reclaimed.
